Connecticut College is very welcoming to transfer students, and you'll experience all the College has to offer no matter when you join our community. Our innovative Connections curriculum will be available to you, as will financial aid and merit scholarships. On this page, you'll find information that will help as you consider transferring to Connecticut College. And place yourself on our transfer mailing list so we can share new information that may be of interest to you.

What are the requirements to apply as a transfer?

Connecticut College uses the Common Application and we encourage you to create a Common App account well in advance of the application deadline. This will allow you enough time to complete the application and gather the other required materials listed below. As part of our commitment to provide access to all qualified applicants, we have waived the application fee.

To be considered for transfer admission, you must complete at least one semester at an accredited college or university, and it is recommended that you maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.  Financial aid is available for transfer applicants, but very limited aid is available for foreign citizens.

Connecticut College values the perspectives and contributions of those who have served our country in the military. We welcome applications from veterans who may wish to finish a bachelor of arts degree through our Return to College program.
