sourav (pronounced “Show Rob”) has served as an adjunct instructor at Connecticut College since Fall 2022. During that time, he has taught courses on Contemporary Indian Politics (GOV 262), Asian American Politics (GOV 267), Environmental Activism and its Political Impact Around the Globe (GOV 251), and Political Psychology and Public Opinion in the United States (GOV 216).

He brings to the classroom a broad, interdisciplinary intellectual background, and more than two decades of professional experience across a broad variety of roles in the public, nonprofit, and postsecondary sectors. In addition to teaching at Conn, sourav is Director of Institutional Research at Choate Rosemary Hall secondary school, and a member of the Board of Directors for Cinestudio, an independent art house cinema located in Hartford. In 2023, he served on the Community Editorial Board of The Connecticut Mirror, a nonprofit, non-partisan news outlet.
