143 Camels named to NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team

The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) has named 143 Connecticut College student-athletes to the 2026 Winter All-Academic Team.

The 143 selections are the most for the College in the winter season in the 26-year history of the award, topping the 140 from last year. The Camels had representatives in all 10 eligible sports, including 32 members of the Women’s Indoor Track & Field team and 21 members—91% of the eligible roster—of the Men’s Hockey Team.  

The list also includes two student-athletes—Evan Lyons ’27 and Pete Stanger ’27—who earned All-NESCAC accolades in their respective sports and seven more—Avery Burns ’26, RJ Casey ’26, Kate Edison ’26, Brendan Guiliano ’27, Bridget McGann ’26, Henry Pelletier ’26 and Reid Shafer ’26—who were recognized on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale at the end of the 2025 fall semester. Transfer students must have completed one year of study at an institution.
