Arboretum hosts Mother’s Day Plant Sale

The Connecticut College Arboretum will host a Mother’s Day Plant Sale on campus on Friday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to hanging container gardens, Martha Washington geraniums, mandevillas and more, the Arboretum staff and volunteers will offer original container gardens in baskets and beautiful pots. There will be something to fit all budgets and proceeds will go the Arboretum. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.

“We are happy to be able to offer our popular container gardens again this year,” said Kathy Dame, assistant director of the Arboretum. “They will be a great and unique addition to the sale.”

The plant sale will take place on the front patio of the College Center at Crozier-Williams. In case of rain, the sale will take place inside.
