The Dance Department will stage its fall concert, “This is Where We Are,” on Friday, Dec. 9, and Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Palmer Auditorium, featuring choreography re-staged by guest artist Ya'ara Moses.

Moses, a dancer from Tel Aviv, has been in residence for the fall semester. She is a leading teacher of Gaga, a dance form she learned with the Batsheva Dance Company under the tutelage of artistic director—and Gaga inventor—Ohad Naharin. Moses teaches a Gaga class three times a week at the College and is training students to perform a dance in the concert.

Also featured will be choreography by guest faculty members Gabriel “Kwikstep” Dionisio (currently working on Baz Lurhmann's “The Get Down”) and Megan Williams, former long-time member of Mark Morris Dance Group; Connecticut College faculty David Dorfman and Heidi Henderson; and selected student works by Ashley Barattini, Emily Chin and Senait Judge-Yoakam, Erika Martin and Ruy Zambrano.

Tickets are $12 general admission and $6 for students and seniors, and are available online.
