Meet President-elect Katherine Bergeron

Faculty, staff and students are invited to meet President-elect Katherine Bergeron and her husband Joseph Butch Rovan on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at an informal gathering in Shain Library at 2 p.m.

For students and others not yet back from summer break, a second campus reception will be held on Sept. 19. (Details will be posted on the College calendar when they are available.)

The Board of Trustees elected Bergeron, a scholar of musicology and senior administrator at Brown University, as the 11^th president of Connecticut College on Tuesday, Aug. 20. She will take office in January 2014 following the retirement of President Lee Higdon.
