The 2026/2027 Connecticut College Arboretum Photo Contest is open for entries!

Rules of Entry:
- This photo contest is open to Connecticut College students, faculty or staff and members of the local community.
- Limit of three entries per person. Please submit one submission form for each photograph entry (see link below).
- All photographs must be taken within the Connecticut College Arboretum, including the Native Plant Collection, Caroline Black Garden, Campus Landscape, Greenhouse, Natural Areas or Managed Meadows (See Arboretum map).
- Photo entries may not include recognizable people or pets. Entries with recognizable people/pets will not be considered by the judges.
- All digital photographs should be a minimum size of 300 dpi, 10 megabytes (MB) or smaller and in a jpg or jpeg format.
- Photos must have been taken within two years before the date of entry.
- Photo submissions become the property of Connecticut College and may be used as seen fit by the College.
- All entries must be received by 11:59 P.M. SUNDAY, MARCH 28, 2027.
Winners will receive a complimentary one-year membership to the Arboretum (Family membership for Community Youth category winners) and a set of 2026/2027 Photo Contest postcards. Winning images will be exhibited in the Connecticut College Arboretum Gallery during the month of April and May 2027.
Photo Contest Judges are selected from Connecticut College faculty/staff/students, Connecticut College Arboretum members/volunteers and/or local residents.
Judging will take place the week of April 5, 2027, and winners will be announced at the Connecticut College Arboretum Arbor Day event on April 24, 2027.
