Connecticut College wants to help you get a jump on the whole college admission process—from searching for potential colleges to filling out your applications—so we're hosting Camp Conn, a free, one-day college prep experience on our beautiful New London campus!
We hope you'll join us on Monday, Aug. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for workshops on writing your essay, showing your best self on the Common Application, how financial aid works and more! You'll hear from admission and financial aid professionals at Conn as well as from other colleges and universities in the area. Between workshops, we'll play some games, have some lunch and create some crafts you can take home.
Again, it's free! All you have to do is register using the form below. You can bring up to two guests, but space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served, so don’t delay!

Whether you’re just starting to look at colleges or you’ve already narrowed your list of favorites, this session will offer plenty of useful information and advice on applying to college. We’ll cover tips for researching colleges and completing the application itself.
Intro to the Liberal Arts
What are the liberal arts? What makes a liberal arts college experience different from other kinds of higher education? Learn about what to expect in a liberal arts environment that you can’t find anywhere else!
Writing the College Essay
What makes a good college essay? What do admission counselors really look for when they read one? Learn about how to best present yourself to the admission committee in 650 words! (No college essay draft required!)
Lunch, Crafts and Games
Camels do like to unwind! Enjoy a delicious lunch with your fellow campers and partake in activities like lawn and board games, t-shirt tie dying, bracelet making and more!
