About Abbey House

Abbey House is part of "The Village," a collection of apartments, houses and residence houses located across Mohegan Avenue/Route 32 from main campus, between the Connecticut College Athletic Center and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Abbey House is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors, and is available as an alternative housing option for students who desire academic year-round housing (allowing students to remain in their rooms during academic breaks.) Abbey features a kitchen and living spaces, as well as single and double rooms.

Meg Thompson

Assistant Director - South Campus: Blackstone, Plant, Windham, Knowlton, Harkness, Jane Addams, Freeman; Winchester, River Ridge, 191, E/360, Abbey House and Lazrus House

Meg received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2009, and pursued her master's of education in counseling from Providence College in 2011. She’s worked in Residence Life for about 10 years and has loved every minute of it. Currently, Meg oversees South Campus and the Village. She also works with CC Curtiss in the Office of Student Wellness and Alcohol and Other Drug Education. She is certified in Mindfulness and MixxedFit Dance Fitness. In her down time, she can be seen around campus with her dog, Lucy!
