About Jane Addams House

Jane Addams House (most often referred to as "JA,") is located along Tempel Green. JA is connected to Freeman House, and is also the home of JA Dining Hall (see below). 

Students of all genders and class years live in JA; however the lower floor is an all male floor which is available as an alternative housing option.

Meghan Thompson

Meg Thompson

Assistant Director - South Campus: Blackstone, Plant, Windham, Knowlton, Harkness, Jane Addams, Freeman; Winchester, River Ridge, 191, E/360, Abbey House and Lazrus House

Meg received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2009, and pursued her master's of education in counseling from Providence College in 2011. She’s worked in Residence Life for about 10 years and has loved every minute of it. Currently, Meg oversees South Campus and the Village. She also works with CC Curtiss in the Office of Student Wellness and Alcohol and Other Drug Education. She is certified in Mindfulness and MixxedFit Dance Fitness. In her down time, she can be seen around campus with her dog, Lucy!

Jane Addams (JA), located on the south end of campus, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday - Friday. JA offers a full-service breakfast. Additionally JA offers a quick-service sandwich and salad menu for lunch & dinner. A variety of soups and rustic breads are also on display. 

Continental Breakfast Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.
Breakfast Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Lunch Monday - Friday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dinner Monday - Friday  4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
