Information Services provides a wide range of resources for teaching inside and outside of the classroom. Classrooms at Connecticut College are equipped with, or can be supplied with, computer projection, enabling faculty to use a range of technologies during class meetings. Additional information on classrooms can be found on CamelWeb, search for "Virtual EMS" after logging in.  Outside of class time, students and faculty can use Moodle, the College's course management system, to enhance student learning and build on the classroom experience.

Keep up with Instructional Technology in our blog, Engage.

The College's libraries are equipped with computer technology and software to help students in their coursework, and are staffed with librarians and instructional technology specialists to provide guidance and assistance with research and technology.

IS also provides support for faculty teaching in the form of pedagogy, technology training and programs to support the innovative use of technology within the curriculum. Programs include the Teaching with Technology workshop series and the annual Tempel Summer Institute. Instructional Technology also regularly offers programs in collaboration with the Joy Shechtman Mankoff Center for Teaching & Learning.

Faculty needing assistance with the use of technology in teaching can contact their departmental instructional technology liaison. Instructional technology liaisons can provide guidance in the selection, implementation, and use of technologies in teaching and learning. Liaisons also facilitate academic software purchases and provide instruction to classes
