The Digitally Enhanced Learning Initiative (DELI) partners with faculty to integrate mobile technologies into the classroom in ways that meaningfully enhance student learning. DELI offers two programs — mini-grants and course loans — with proposals accepted on a rolling basis year-round. Awards are reviewed monthly by RS&CT staff. Funds and equipment are limited.

DELI Mini-Grant Program

The mini-grant program provides funding for faculty to explore and experiment with digital technologies in their teaching. Faculty may request up to $300 per academic year to support the purchase of software or hardware for use in one or more courses. Items purchased through this program are property of Connecticut College.

DELI Course-Loan Program

Through the course-loan program, every student in a participating course is equipped with mobile technology to support their learning. Current loan offerings include iPads and Apple Pencils, which faculty have used to support annotation, creative projects, and active engagement with course materials. Faculty submit a proposal describing how the technology will support specific learning goals.
