Mr. Brownstone rocks Centennial Reunion

This just in: Mr. Brownstone, the wildly popular Guns 'n' Roses tribute band that got its start with a joke gig at the College Center in 2000, will play Centennial Reunion on Saturday night.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, June 3. You won't want to miss the festivities, starting with a lobsterbake on Tempel Green at 5:30. Following dinner will be a special keynote address by Nina Totenberg, NPR’s legal affairs correspondent. The evening will be capped off with an amazing fireworks display in honor of the College’s 100th birthday.

Saturday is filled with an array of activities (view the full schedule), many of which are specific to each Reunion class. The classes will join together for the parade, convocation and a picnic Saturday afternoon, as well as a Reunion gala featuring music from the Dick Campo Big Band.

Mr. Brownstone starts playing after the Reunion Gala. Members of the band include Andrew Thurlow ’01, Gerard Egan ’01, David Godowsky ’02 and Sean Greenhalgh ’01.
