May is musical at Connecticut College

The Department of Music will host five performances in one week, showcasing talented students, faculty, and guests on a variety of instruments and in a variety of genres.

“May is a very busy month, with final exams and Commencement, so I’m especially pleased that our music students and faculty are able to produce these wonderful performances,” said Midge Thomas, associate professor and chair of the music department. “They cap off a remarkable year of music and for music at the College, with the Inauguration of a noted music scholar — Katherine Bergeron — as our 11th president.
