Crozier Boulevard Pedestrian Promenade and Enabling Parking Project

Construction project timeline: Summer 2024-Spring 2025

Identified several years ago in a pedestrian safety study focused on minimizing pedestrian-vehicular conflict, the Crozier-Williams Boulevard project has been a priority in the College’s two most recent master plans (1999, 2018). The boulevard will be converted from a roadway/parking area into a pedestrian boulevard that connects the community from the southernmost to the northernmost points of our campus. These campus improvements will connect our community and provide a safer campus for us to navigate.

Crozier-Williams Remodel

Construction project timeline: Summer 2024-February 2025

This construction project is a fundraising priority for the Defy Boundaries Campaign. The scope of the project is focused on four key areas that impact the way that the building is activated for the broad campus community:

  • The entry along Cro Blvd
  • Oasis
  • Cro’s Nest and the common area between Cro’s Nest and the second floor bathrooms
  • 1962 Room

Bathroom privacy improvements

Ongoing

The College is in the process of making modifications for increased privacy in residential hall bathrooms. This project, which started in the summer 2022, will be ongoing over the next three years.

Spring-Summer 2025

Crozier-Plex Pedestrian Connector and Enabling Parking Projects

Construction project timeline: Spring 2025-Fall 2025

Identified several years ago in a pedestrian safety study focused on minimizing pedestrian-vehicular conflict, the Crozier-Plex project has been a priority in the College’s two most recent master plans (1999, 2018). This project will involve the removal of the roadway and parking between Cro and the Plex to more effectively link these two buildings creating a unified campus open space. As a result of this project, parking will be redistributed throughout the campus creating enabling parking projects.
