Connecticut College has strong science programs with outstanding faculty, excellent interdisciplinary programs and many opportunities for students to do groundbreaking research with their professors. Our graduates go on to top Ph.D. programs and professional positions.

The new Science Center and the state-of-the-art equipment in it will help the College maintain its leadership position in the sciences. It provides the most modern botany, biology and computer science facilities for research and learning.

This project strengthens our academic program enormously for every student who enrolls here. The sciences are an important part of a liberal arts curriculum – as important as the social sciences, humanities and arts. Each discipline gives students a unique way of knowing and understanding the world around them.
