We'll offer tours, panel presentations, and opportunities to meet the students, faculty and staff who make Conn a special place.

Arboretum Tour
Established in 1931, the Connecticut College Arboretum encompasses the entirety of Conn’s 750-acre landscape. The Arboretum offers students a place for experiencing beauty, enjoying nature and passive recreation as well as serving as a living laboratory for environmental research and teaching. Take a tour of the 30-acre Native Plant Collection.

Career Preparation, Professional Development and Internships
Conn’s four-year career advising program works: Around 95% of our alumni are employed or in graduate school within one year of graduating. Hear all about it from career program staff and current students.

STEM Sessions
Tours and drop-in sessions allow you to see our STEM-related facilities as well as meet with faculty.
Sessions will meet and depart from Castle Court (D3). Look for a representative holding a sign for the tour you'd like to take: Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geoscience, Mathematics and Statistics, Neuroscience, or Physics/Astrophysics/Geophysics.

The First-Year Experience

Arts Sessions and Tours
The arts are vital to our Camel community, in ways both experiential and intellectual. See the spaces devoted to the arts and hear from members of the departments of Dance, Music, Studio Art and Theater.
Music and Studio Art sessions begin from Cummings Arts Center Salon (D3); Theater session departs from Castle Court (D3); Dance session begins at the top of the stairs leading up from Castle Court (G3). Look for members of our team holding signs!

Athletic Center Tour
See where our Camels get fit and in fighting shape. On this tour of the AC, you'll see the fitness center, field house, rock wall, natatorium, ice hockey rink, and artificial turf track and field. You'll also get a view of our newly revitalized waterfront, including the boathouse and new docks on the Thames River.
Meet outside the front door of the Athletic Center (G5). Note: If you know you'll be taking the AC tour at the end of the day, you can park there in the morning (shuttles run 8-9 a.m.) and take a shuttle up to campus for Spring Open House events, then take a shuttle back down for the AC tour and depart from there! You can also park on campus in the morning and drive down to the AC when it's time for the tour.
