Interim Director of Student Accessibility Services

Joanne is pleased to be joining Connecticut College as Interim Director of Student Accessibility Services. She has over 15 years dedicated to accommodating and otherwise serving students with varied disabilities in both private and state higher education institutions. She has also previously worked in K- 12 schools in special education services and in the rehabilitation field. Joanne holds a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from The George Washington University and a Masters in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Lillian Liebenthal

Student Accessibility Coordinator

Lillian has been employed at Connecticut College for a little more than ten years, the first seven years with the College Bookshop. In 2011, she returned to her primary vocation and true passion as an advocate and resource for people with disabilities, becoming the Student Accessibility Services Coordinator and continuing as part of the vibrant Connecticut College community. Prior to Connecticut College, Lillian worked in various residential, vocational and educational support services.
