Admission 101: Demystifying the College Admission Process
February 16 & 17, 2020
The annual alumni Admission 101 program provides valuable insights and information to help secondary school juniors prepare for the selective college admission process. Students attend classes, practice interview techniques through both student and staff interviewers, and gain a feel for the college experience by talking with current students.
Parents can participate in a mock admission committee and talk candidly with College administrators about the admission process, financial aid, and campus life. The Admission 101 program is not intended to showcase Connecticut College to prospective students, and participation does not influence admission decisions at Connecticut College. After this program, both students and parents will be better prepared to make informed decisions throughout the college search and application process. For reference, last year's schedule of events can be found here: Admission101 Fy19 Schedule. (pdf)
The program is co-sponsored by the Offices of Admission and Alumni Engagement. For more information or to be placed on our mailing list for upcoming years, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-800-888-7549, ext. 2300.
Space is limited to 40 families and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will open in late December.
