Oral history project
Great teaching has always been at the heart of a Connecticut College education. Collecting, telling and preserving the stories of these teachers – our faculty – is an ideal way to put this education in context as the College celebrates its Centennial.

The Centennial History/Storytelling Subcommittee conducted an oral history project centered on interviews of emeriti faculty and senior administrators who worked closely with students. Interviewers spoke with about 15 people representing a cross-section of disciplines, interests and activities. Interviewers included students, alumni and staff members. Excerpts from the interviews were to be collected in a book.
