Projects to be undertaken this summer include:

Athletics Center

The main entrance will be upgraded with swipe card technology to better accommodate students, faculty and staff who use the center, and to enhance safety for all.

Becker House

New administrative work spaces will be created on the basement level.

Holmes Hall

The playground surface will be reconstructed.

Oliva Hall

This popular teaching and performing space in Cummings Arts Center will be upgraded with new seating and new technology, and will be made fully accessible so that more events can be offered here. Also in Cummings, the flooring will be upgraded.

Shain Library

Renovations to the Linda Lear Center include enlarging the center to include the former Haines Room. The Haines Room, a popular room for meetings on campus, will be relocated to the library's ground floor.

Student Residence Improvements

40 singles on the upper two floors in Morrisson will be converted into 20 doubles to better accommodate first-year students.

Unity House

The College's multicultural center will undergo renovations inside and out. Based on input from students, the second floor will be reconfigured to create a larger student recreation, meeting and social space. The kitchen will also be upgraded, and new landscaping and pathways will be created outside.

College Center at Crozier-Williams

Steam distribution system upgrades will be made in the vicinity of Cro.

Additional Infrastructure

New boilers will be installed at Winthrop, Earth House, 360 Mohegan and Becker House; abatement will be undertaken at Bolles House, Warnshuis and 191 Mohegan; and the first phase of the steam distribution system replacement will be undertaken.
