The Camel men’s lacrosse team (7-9, 3-7 NESCAC) posted clutch conference wins against Trinity and Hamilton to qualify for the NESCAC Championship. Sophomore Ben Parens set the tone at the X. Parens won 214-of-325 battles at the X to rank fourth (tied) in NESCAC face-off wins. He corralled 118 ground balls to rank fifth in the conference. At the conclusion of the season, Parens made history as the program’s inaugural First Team USILA All-American selection. Parens was also recognized on the All-NESCAC First Team. Senior Derek Bertolini had another huge season as the team’s facilitator on offense. The Camels stormed back from a second quarter deficit to take down rival Washington & Jefferson 13-9 for their fourth consecutive Division III Championship. Senior Kelsey Millward was honored as the CWPA Division III Regular Season and Post-Season MVP and closed out her career as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 256 goals scored.
