Our programs address multiple dimensions of student wellbeing and are designed to help students build knowledge, skills, connection, and confidence. We strive to empower students by offering holistic resources across mental health, substance education, physical wellness, and social connection. From stress management workshops and harm reduction strategies to sleep hygiene and community-building initiatives, we support students in building healthy, sustainable routines -  fostering resilience, informed decision-making, and a culture of care across campus. 

Programming calendar includes:

  • Health Coaching: one-on-one meetings to discuss challenges, stressors, and celebrate successes. Sessions are designed to help students find strategies to maximize their college experience, navigate uncertainty and increase their sense of wellbeing.
  • Online Prevention Modules: Population-based prevention is part of the larger comprehensive harm-reduction education. Topic areas include mental health, substance use, and hazing.
  • Educational Interventions: Focused on substance use and abuse prevention which include Choices Workshop, BASICS/Motivational Interviewing sessions, and the Restore Program.
  • Camels Care Festival: Annual fall campus-wide event in partnership with the First Year Seminar program. The event highlights how wellbeing works here at Conn - reenforcing recourse, promote help-seeking behaviors, and build community.
  • Strength Over Stress: Stress Less April is a month long series of events to actively engage students in learning strategies to mitigate stress and plan for success during finals.
  • Zen Zone: Weekly drop-in and destress space
  • Trivia Nights with health promotion focus
