Senior Week 2019 Events 

Events are subject to change through out the semester. A final schedule will be given at registration.

These events are intended for the members of the Class of 2019 only. Please keep that in mind when making plans.

Throughout the semester, the class councils and various offices around campus will be working tirelessly to help you create wonderful memories! If you have any questions or suggestions, please let us know.  

Monday, May 13


6 p.m.

Palmer Auditorium

You must bring your College-issued ID to receive your wristband. Please complete the senior survey prior to registration. You will receive an email with the link to the survey. 

Senior Bar Night

9:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.


Spend your last night in Humphrey's, your favorite campus bar. Celebrate the good ole days at Conn, and relish in the fact that you can walk to your room in less than 10 minutes!


Tuesday, May 14

Night Away

Listen to your Roots

8 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.

Night Away will give the seniors the opportunity to get off campus and have a great night out with all of their graduating friends! The event will be held at a local bar and transportation will be provided. Dance all night to your favorite songs from the past four years and raise a glass to your undergraduate career!


Wednesday, May 15

Lily Pad: Spread your Roots

7 p.m. - 10 p.m.


Celebrate this evening in the Arboretum under the stars and dance the night away. Enjoy music by your favorite performer , DJ E@zy. Make sure to stop by at the photo booth to get a copy to remember this memorable event. 


Thursday, May 16

All Campus Luncheon

12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Castle Court 

Come join the whole campus community in Castle Court for a farmer's market adventure. With the start of summer quickly approaching, this picnic-style meal will get you feeling in the outdoor/summer mood! Come enjoy your favorite lemonades, teas, fruits, and more.

Senior Toast

5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Lott Courtyard (Enter through Harris Dining Hall) 

Come celebrate and enjoy a special senior toast to all of you by the Class of 2019's favorite faculty member! Enjoy a night of yummy Harris food and the outdoors with all of your close friends to celebrate all that you have accomplished over the past 4 years!

Night of Nights

10 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Buses leave from in front of Cro

End the night in Foxwoods casino in an Asian inspired decor night club. This will be a celebration where seniors can reminisce about their years at Conn while vibing to great music. This year's food includes a Teppanyaki bar which is a fajita bar with an Asian twist including options of vegetable fried rice, white rice, and meats including chicken, steak, and shrimp. Don't forget to bring some cash to purchase your favorite drinks and beverages at the available open bar, and everyone must bring a government issued ID (license, passport, etc.). Wristbands are required for the event. 


Friday, May 17

Pick up rain tickets for Commencement

Senior Formal: The Garden

9 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Mystic Marriott Ballroom 

*Guest tickets on sale Monday, April 23; $70, cash or check only

Find your evening gown or suit and join us for a fabulous night of dinner, dancing, and more at the Mystic Marriott Ballroom! Drink tickets for beer and wine can be picked up at Cro before your assigned shuttle time. Drink tickets will not be available at the hotel. There will be a cash bar for hard liquor. Shuttle assignments will be distributed during registration. 

Attire is formal. Guests may attend with purchase of guest ticket. 


Saturday, May 18

Harkness Chapel

You, your family and friends are warmly invited to Baccalaureateon Saturday, 18th at 4 p.m. in Harkness Chapel.

Baccalaureate, a time-honored component of Commencement Ceremonies, is an opportunity for reflection and gratitude. The theme this year is Hope. Members of the graduating class will play music, pray, sing, and present remarks. The Baccalaureate Address will be given by Reverend Elizabeth Lerner Maclay '88. No invitation or ticket is required to attend Baccalaureate, and graduates, families, faculty, and staff are all welcome. 

Senior Salute 

8:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Cro 1962 Room

Seniors, families, and friends: Join us Saturday night in Cro to celebrate your last night at Connecticut College. Lite fare and beverages will complement live entertainment and mingling!

Report for Commencement check-in. All seniors must be in their staging area seats no later than 10 a.m.
