Get to know your fellow Camels in a private Facebook group just for students in your class year. You control the conversations: see who else shares your taste in music, your academic interests or is assigned to your same residential house.
Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to Connecticut College!
We can’t wait to have you join our community.
When you receive your welcome letter there will be instructions for you to activate your College email address and password. There is a new platform, the Camel Experience, which has extensive information about the College and important documents that you will need to submit, such as the housing form. You will find these forms in the section Checklist.
Welcome Weekend is scheduled from Thursday, August 26, 2021 through the end of the day on Monday, August 30, 2021. The first day of classes for the fall semester is Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
You'll move in and get settled on Arrival Day, Thursday, August 26, 2021 and begin Welcome Weekend that afternoon. When you arrive to campus, your transfer advisers and other student leaders will help you get settled and acquainted with the campus, your residence house, dining halls, the library, the athletic center, clubs and organizations, traditions and even the lingo of Connecticut College.
Parents and Families are welcome to attend our Arrival Day events on Thursday, August 26 and we will have a dedicated program for parents and families in the afternoon, including a welcome from President Bergeron. We are developing our COVID-19 vaccine and testing requirements for guests and will be in touch with more details later this summer. Starting that evening, students will begin a busy schedule of events through the start of classes and will not have time for visits from family and friends.
Detailed schedules for Welcome Weekend will be announced in August 2021.
We want to ensure that your transition to Connecticut College is a smooth one, so please let us know how we can help. Contact the class deans at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 860-439-2050. You can also reach us directly at the emails listed below. We look forward to meeting you!
