Project/Mission Statement
What is the future of architectural design? To me, it's ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of being in a space that is gentle and kind to us–starting at the basic spaces fundamental to wellbeing. This is especially critical for individuals with sensory sensitivities, for whom finding spaces that accommodate them can be a challenge. In my project, I am redesigning Conn’s dining hall, Harris, and reconceptualizing through design how we can account for everyone’s unique ways of processing sensory information.
