The Human Baseline: An Intermedia Performance
By: Jonah Hane ’26
Advising Faculty: Shawn Hove

Project/Mission Statement:
“The Human Baseline” is an immersive performance incorporating live acting with audio-visual media projection. This experience features a physical actor and a digital double sharing a single space, using collaged text to explore themes of identity, AI, and digital communication. This performance will focus primarily on the question of whether or not the humanization of AI has begun to affect the way humans are perceived, and if the development of an artificial humaniform identity could result in the artificialization of human identity.
