All domestic applicants applying for financial aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is used to determine a student's eligibility for federal and state grants, federal loans, and federal student employment. If you would like to be considered for the institutional need-based grant program, you will be required to complete the CSS Profile and provide other supporting documentation. If all required application documentation is submitted by the posted deadlines, need-based financial aid packages will be provided at the of admission to the College.

International students should not expect to receive need based financial aid during your years at Connecticut College unless you apply for financial aid during the admission process and are eligible at the time you are admitted. However, if there is a significant change in family circumstances in subsequent years, international students should contact our office to discuss their options and we will determine if a change in their eligibility is appropriate. More information about international student costs can be found here.
