For its commitment to service both on campus and off, Connecticut College's Department of Psychology was honored with the 2013 American Psychological Association's (APA) Culture of Service Award, February 2014.

Psychology Department Bulletin

The department of psychology publishes the monthly "Psychology Department Bulletin" which lists upcoming conferences and workshops that students may attend locally and nationally, job and internship opportunities, recent publications by faculty and students and news of interest.

Psychology Colloquium Series

The department of psychology holds a Colloquium Series throughout the spring and fall semesters bringing in distinguished speakers. Lectures are usually held on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. in Bill Hall, 106.

Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society

The Connecticut College chapter of the national psychology honor society, Psi Chi, holds its induction ceremony each semester, with a featured speaker.

Annual Psychology Department Conference

The Annual Psychology Department Conference with paper sessions, symposia, panels and structured discussions takes place each spring. Peers and faculty present their latest research findings and students present results of their theses, individual studies, and group research projects; others present new ideas, review literature in specialized areas, or discuss the work of their classes or research groups.
